Two years keeping Inform's 2,400-product catalogue in sync

Inform

Inform sells design furniture on a Craft Commerce store and runs the business in NetSuite. Between the two: 2,400 products, thousands of variants, and more than 20,000 images. Nexbea has kept both sides in sync since 2024, and nobody has entered an order by hand since.

One catalogue, two systems

Take one chair at Inform. It comes in four finishes and two heights. On the website, that’s one product with variants and photos. In NetSuite, it’s items, prices, and stock. The same chair lives in both systems. So does every other product: 2,400 of them, three to five variants each, and more than 20,000 images.

Keeping all that in line by hand isn’t a task, it’s a department. And every order on the site still had to become a NetSuite sales order, correct down to the line item, before anyone could pick anything off a shelf.

What we built

Nexbea keeps the two systems in sync. When an order comes in, it becomes a NetSuite sales order right away, with totals, taxes, discounts, and addresses all in place. Each order links to its NetSuite twin, so staff jump between the two in one click. Customer records stay current on both sides. And the catalogue, variants and images included, stays one catalogue.

Two quiet years

Nexbea has run at Inform since 2024, longer than anywhere else. Every sync is monitored. Every change gets tested against real data before it touches a live order. In two years, nobody has entered an order by hand, and the catalogue hasn’t drifted.

It’s the least dramatic story we have, and that’s the point. The integration that works is the one nobody has to talk about.

Nexbea has kept our catalogue, customers, and orders in sync with NetSuite for two years. It is the part of our operations we think about least. When something changes on our side, we say so, and it gets handled.

I have never had to assign a developer to this. Craft and NetSuite keep changing, APIs update, and it is all handled before we would even notice. Two years and twenty thousand images in, I have stopped checking whether the two systems agree. They just do.
