Bocci: no order touched by hand since day one

Bocci

Bocci sells high-value, highly configurable lighting on a Craft Commerce store and runs operations in NetSuite. About two weeks after staging tests began, the integration went live. Every order since has reached NetSuite on its own. When live data turned up a few small mapping gaps, the fixes shipped within days, the fastest in under an hour.

Orders that punish mistakes

A Bocci order is rarely simple. One light can have dozens of configuration choices. Discounts apply per line. Order values are high. Mistype a sales order and the wrong thing gets made.

The store runs on Craft Commerce. The business runs on NetSuite. Every order has to cross that gap correctly, every time, without anyone re-typing it.

Tested before trusted

We ran the integration against Bocci’s staging site first, with real order data, and checked the sample sales orders on the NetSuite side. Then it went live, about two weeks after testing began.

Real orders then turned up a few small gaps that testing had missed. Tote bags from the merch line landed in NetSuite as placeholder items instead of real products. A billing phone number didn’t carry over. Bocci’s team told us, and the fixes went live within days, the fastest in under an hour. We checked each one against the next live order and sent a plain email: what changed, why, and how to check it.

One order failed to sync. A just-launched product was missing an ID in the source data. Monitoring caught it, we told Bocci what was missing, and once the data was fixed, the order replayed. Nothing was lost. Nothing was typed in by hand.

How it runs now

Orders turn into NetSuite sales orders on their own, with payment status, discounts, and shipping attached, plus a memo line so staff can see at a glance what was bought. Bocci watches the dashboard. We run the integration. Every change gets an email. Since day one, not a single order has been entered by hand.

We went from staging tests to live in about two weeks, and orders have just shown up in NetSuite ever since. When we spot something off, I message the Nexbea team directly and the fix is usually live and verified the next day.
